What we do

Whatever the system is doing, we've seen it.

Repairs, replacements and the yearly maintenance that keeps both off your calendar. One crew, no subcontractors.

AC repair

Blowing warm, short-cycling, iced-up coil or a breaker that keeps tripping. Diagnosed today, priced before we touch a wrench.

Most repairs same day

AC & system install

Right-sized with a real load calculation, not a guess off the old nameplate. Most swaps finished in a single day.

Free in-home estimate

Furnace repair

Gas and electric. Ignitors, flame sensors, blower motors, control boards — the parts that fail on the first cold night.

24/7 no-heat calls

Heat pumps

Service and installs for the dual-fuel and all-electric systems going into half of Chesterfield right now. We know the defrost quirks.

Rebate paperwork handled

Ductwork

Sealing, repairs and redesign for older Fan and Church Hill homes where the back bedroom never gets there.

Room-by-room airflow test

Indoor air quality

Whole-home humidifiers, media filtration and UV. The fix for a Richmond August that follows you indoors.

Comfort Line maintenance plans

Two visits a year, and the 2am call never happens.

Roughly 8 out of 10 no-heat calls we run in January trace back to something a fall tune-up would have caught. Pick a plan, we handle the reminders.

A new system shouldn't mean draining the savings account.

If your unit is past saving, we'll price the replacement honestly and show you the monthly number before you decide. Approved credit, soft pull, answer in about five minutes — and we file the manufacturer and Dominion rebates for you.

$0 down

New systems from as low as $96/mo — 0% APR for 18 months on qualifying installs.

How a visit goes

Three steps, no surprises on the invoice.

Furnace quit on the coldest night of the year and they had someone at the house by 9pm. Fixed a flame sensor, charged what they quoted, and didn't try to sell me a whole system.

Our 1920s place in the Fan had one bedroom that was ten degrees off. They actually measured the airflow, resized a run of duct, and it's finally even upstairs.

Full heat pump install in one day, start to finish. The Comfort plan has paid for itself twice over — they just call me to schedule and I don't think about it.

Questions we get daily

Straight answers.

How often should I have my system serviced?

Twice a year is the honest answer: heating before the first cold snap in October, cooling before the humidity lands in May. If you have a heat pump it runs year-round, so two visits matter even more. One visit a year is better than none — that's what our Basic plan covers.

Should I repair this or replace it?

Our rule of thumb: if the unit is over 12 years old and the repair is more than a third of replacement cost, replacing usually wins. Under that, repair. We'll show you both numbers side by side and tell you what we'd do in your house — we're not paid on commission.

How long does a new system install take?

Most straight replacements are done in one day, roughly 6 to 8 hours, and you'll have heat or air that night. Jobs involving new ductwork, a fuel conversion, or tight crawlspace access can run two days. We tell you which one you are at the estimate, not halfway through.

Do you handle emergencies at night or on weekends?

Yes — 24/7, all year, and a real person answers at (804) 555-0142. No-heat and no-cool calls jump the queue. Comfort+ members pay no after-hours or weekend surcharge at all.

What does financing actually look like?

$0 down on approved credit, terms from 24 to 120 months, and 0% APR for 18 months on qualifying installs. It's a soft credit pull and takes about five minutes at your kitchen table. New systems commonly land around $96 a month.
