Google and search.
Can a new website help my business appear on Google?
It gives Google what it needs: clear titles and headings, a page for what you do, structured data, a sitemap, Search Console, and a connection to your Google Business Profile. Nobody can honestly guarantee a ranking, but a site without this groundwork is much harder for Google to show.
What makes a local business website rank in Google?
Google says local results are based mainly on relevance, distance and prominence. In practice that means a complete and accurate Google Business Profile, genuine reviews, a website that clearly says what you do and where, a page for each main service, and a site that loads quickly on a phone.
Should I use a website or only a Facebook page for my business?
Use both if you like, but don’t rely on Facebook alone. A website is yours, shows up in Google and AI search on its own, and isn’t hidden behind a login or an algorithm. A Facebook page is a good place to post updates; a website is where customers go to decide.
How do I choose a web designer for my small business?
Look for published prices, a fixed scope, and clear answers on who owns the site, who hosts it, and what happens if you leave. Ask to see real sites they’ve built, and check they’re fast on a phone and easy to update.
